Bayfront is dedicated to ensuring parents are given opportunities for engagement: to make deep connections with other community members caring for special needs youth; to have educational opportunities for best practices of child and adolescent care; and to have opportunities for engagement in free or low-cost community resources.
Bayfront is dedicated to permanency and long-term planning of youth in our care by engaging the parents, caregivers, and any identified informal supports in service delivery wherever possible. Many of the children and adolescents have had multiple placements or “home” spaces, and have difficulties adjusting during transitional periods due to associated anxiety and fear. By helping to enforce a network of support, Bayfront further ensures the permanency and success of each youth in his or her own home.
